Marcousin

Marcousin is Théo's paradise and inspiration in Périgord, one of the most beautiful region in France. It was partly English during the 13th Century and, in German, you live there "wie Gott in Frankreich" (like god in France). The house was born around 800 years ago, at the top of a little hill above a quiet valley. It was transformed into a "Chartreuse" during the 17th century and its beautiful warm, "blond" stones sing sweet memories under the stars every night. It is a peaceful island in the middle of a rich nature full of truffles, stone age caves, middle aged castles, bastides and friendly people.

Like Hitchcok is always appearing in his movies, Marcousin has been included in each and every single book Théo wrote. Just look carefully and you'll find it.
