The highlights of my first trip to Japan in 04 were our meeting, Michael Dudok de Wit and I, with Hayao Miyazaki in his Ghibli studio (an absolute genious, don’t you think?!) and a reception at the french ambassy. Totally amazing! And in 05, the participation to a conference about animation at the french-japanese institute of Kyoto together with Michel Ocelot and a signature session at the crayon house in Tokyo made the 2nd trip mindblowing as well.
